Amazon.com: EasyShare Z740 - Digital Camera -: Camera & Photo

i like this camera, it has good pictures, etc. But my question is what are the filters for? and i like the two extra lens. IMO i think its a great buy and i plan on getting it for x-mas if not sooner. :D

here are some sample pics from the camera.

The UV-filter is for protection, the polarizer is to help reduce reflections and get deep blue skies.

I've had mine for a good 6-8 months now. Takes great photo's for the amatuer who doesnt know bucket loads about photography. ie myself :)

Bonus is it takes really good video with sound too. Draw back is you cant zoom once you've started to record a video, which i used to be able to do on my Sony Mavica...

Sports setting is pretty good to use especially with a decent 10 X zoom. Like when your at the car racing and when your just learning about the camera..

Auto mode can sometimes take a while to focus too. But once you've read the manual and fiddled around you can switch to manual and your all set.

Im more than happy with it for the money I paid for it.

If you buy it I hope you enjoy it!

by the sound of it, its more of a wide angle then a macro; but can still serve as a macro for most intents and purposes.
