Wow  15 month of jail !! I don't know what to think :? I suppose he deserves it if he drove like a dumbass ... but I can't help thinking it can happen to me if I had such a car ...

I think he still goes to jail (remand) while they work on an appeal.

Yeh its going to be tough going from a life of luxury to being locked up, I guess it will give him some time to read up on the highway code though, LOL.

the speed of the system can be so dooooooooog slow :?
if he was sentenced immediately; i think he'd already be out.... but still, fleeing from a crash scene like that is sooo incredibly unscrupules.... but i'm not sure the punishment fits the crime... a civil suite would be more in order IMO.
silly fucker!
and he was talking of a come back last year!
I'm sure nobody would be silly enough to try getting a piece of his ass in jail.
The Golf he hit was forced backwards by the momentum of the SLR - the guy was badly hurt, so a 15month sentence isn't too bad IMO - he overtook in a very silly place!
Yeah thats a shame he got put in prison, durin an Amir Kahn fight a few months back he said he was coming back to fight....guess thats on hold now

He was a tit, he always went flying around in whatever car he had at the time, local witnesses spoke of near misses he's had in his previous ferrari too, and to overtake at a stupid place and then leaving the scene of the crime, leaving the poor bloke he'd crashed into.
Seeing as they were roads around where he lived too, there's no real excuse for him overtaking dangerously because he should know the roads.
He deserves that sentence.
And for the comeback, he's looking a bit chubby for that in the photo on that sky page! :P

Does anybody know how quick he was going , Car still looks good with bits ripped of it.
well i guess thats what you get when you build a supercar from people who cant drive.. but i'm sure that if it was a 360 he would have been death..
anyways.. jail time sounds harsh.. :? it not like anyone crashes on purpose..

Hahaha.
I never really cared for his cocky attitude, so I can't say I am all that bothered by this.

Well he is fat.
He will prolly still get a trainer and shit, and have access to most things, since they say he is going to some low security prison which is more like a retirenment home.
90mph was in the papers
pfff... yeah right..

I understand the news reporting about the crash but why throw in his religion ? i mean
devout muslim, are tehy tryingt o say that he was likea sucicide driver or something ??its pathetic how the use ethnic background to add the news drama... :(
when rowan atkinson smashed his mclaren did they say devout christian???
thats an example of good news and bad news mixed with bit of salt and pepper to test the boundaries of human society. If not alittle racist maybe :( but i got DIBS on the car wreck :D

that just sounds like you're being an arsehole - they are just reporting on him, and giving some background.
Lighten up!

Why does he call himself a Prince?
He pleaded guilty, so he got 15 months, which is a pretty light sentence. Fair enough.

It's just his Boxing name, like "Iron" Mike Tyson, or James "Buster" Douglas, etc.

OK. Typical of egotistical boxers.
