BUDAPEST, Hungary — The small Central European country of Hungary so far has been the venue for two international automotive success stories: one of Audi's biggest engine plants and the European manufacturing hub of Suzuki.
Now a different chapter is to be opened with the debut of the Brokernet Silver Sting.
Kalman Bodis and his Bovi Motorsport team have been participating in international GT racing championships with Porsche 911s since the early 1990s. Based on his racing experience, Bodis set out to create his own sports racing car about seven years ago. After a few false starts, the finished car, called the Brokernet Silver Sting after one of the project's sponsors, was unveiled at the first annual Budapest luxury-car show over the weekend.
The show was organized by a local collector and lined up all internationally acclaimed brands, including Pagani, Koenigsegg, Saleen, Weismann and even the Bugatti Veyron.
The Silver Sting was designed by Zoltan Peredy, who a couple of years ago created a Smart-size city car with gullwing doors. The coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter, 437-horsepower six-cylinder engine lifted from a Porsche 911GT3, and is of extremely lightweight construction. Bodis plans to race it both in Hungary and abroad.

Looks.. meh..... the side is a bit too "fiddly" for me and the front looks a bit boring for me, other than that the performance looks good (well, at least the engine)
