OMG!!! It's gorgeous !!!

I always thought it would be a new model. But, being just a sportier version of the DB9 it's just perfect. The wheels, the front, the hood, everything is perfect. I can't find anything that looks less good.

Not bad......but doesn't quite suit the Aston image, I can see these lines in a Maserati, but Aston......mehhhh......it maybe a bit too agressive.

Now... why would they put "007" on Bond's car, isn't he supposed to be a spy?

The new air intakes kinda ruined the perfect lines of the DB9 but other than that, it looks a lot better than in other pics so far. It now looks more nimble than before.

Sadly, Bond's DBS probably comes with slushbox only and the engine was most likely replaced with a mustang V8 like they did with the vanquish and jag XKR :|

It's just a DB9 which has its lines spoiled by these ads-on. I hope it's not the future Vanquish !! :|

I think it's a cool toy car and the first pic is really awesome. My desktop background for the day...

I emediatley went to the Aston Martin press page and found the news about this car as the last news being posted but strangley only found one pic or better, one drawing....

so, thx for these 8)

Just a pointier, more muscley version of the DB9 with bonnet vents. Id normally complain about it not been much more than a DB9, a lazy attempt, but its just so nice I cant do that. I doubt it will be a limited run like mentioned early up this thread. Its in a james bond film AND its a aston. Garenteed sales right?

Daaaamn that interior looks beautiful!

Is this based on the DB9? I want one ;)

mmmm I'm not sure if I like it, it doesn't suit the DB9's image. This is definetly no improvement over the DB9 by no means. I was really hoping for something more, I don't know what exactly, but not a few bits and pieces from the rice box. On the other hand let's wait for performance specs.

The more I see it and analyze it, the less I like it...I hope it's just a show car for the movie.

It kind of just looks like bond took his DB9 to west coast customs and got it pimped.

Has the same ricer look of the Vanquish they used in the last or 2nd to last Bond film.. (AM vs Jag on ice) Or was it the Jag that had the same hood(bonnet for you euros) as the DBS?

I just love that first picture and the shot of the shifter. The interior looks incredible.. the DB9's interior was already beautiful.

This one also has air vents everywhere - do you consider it rice as well?? :P
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/2877/astonmartin40mx.th.jpg (http://img143.imageshack.us/my.php?image=astonmartin40mx.jpg)

of course not, they're functional... I don't have a problem with the vents, it's thre rest of the bodykit that bothers me...can you say "Pimp my DB9!"...

Guess I am not used to seeing that amount of vents and aggressive bumper... It doesnt look ugly, but it doesnt look unique. The interior apparently has been improoved, looks more like the Rapide Concept's interior. The rims seem to be Rapide concept aswell.

I hope we get more pictures soon.

Looks a lot better than I was expecting it to, but I still think that the front airdam is a bit overdone and maybe even approaches gaudy/riced. The intakes in front of the front wheels almost look DTM-esque, but the rest of the car (basically unchanged from the donor DB9) looks pretty damned good...I even like the air extractors on the hood. The interior is also quite a bit more flashy than the standard car...I like the new center console and gear lever except for the fact that it's chromed and illuminated.

Well, the only thing we can judge ATM are the looks, and damn it's fantastic. I'm also glad they modified the interior slightly, I guess that if ASton Martin went to all that trouble then it should be released in a limit production amount.

wow, that interior shot was amazing... lots of bling there :D

Don't like the slots in the hood, otherwise it's a car you could kill for...!

about the DBS drawing they said it would replace the Vanquish in the future...
but it looks good, maybe little to agressive indead.

It's nice, but was expecting more than just a "tuning" on the DB9. They could at least put a better front bumper cause this one looks like those cheap crap that ricers put on their cars. On the other side the interior looks awesome in black.

I am not impressed. I think all Astons look too much alike for my taste - it is hard to distinguish a low end Aston from a high end Aston. The gearshift looks so 80s - In fact I think Ive seen a similar one on a Lotus Carlton.

In true Bond style, specific details of the new DBS remain top secret, although Aston Martin Design Director, Marek Reichman, said: “This car encapsulates a link between our elegant DB9 road car and the powerful DBR9 race car. It signals an evolutionary development of Aston Martin’s world renowned style and elegance.

That first picture makes the car look really shiny. The exterior isn't so bad. The rims fill the wheel arches in nicely, though if it wasn't chrome coloured I'd like it a lot more, but it does go well with that colour. The vents on the hood spoil the lines of the car and I question the need for it.

http://www.motorpasion.com/archivos/images/aston_martin_dbs-05.jpg

My heart just skipped a beat. That is a damn nice interior with the black and chrome accents, along with the hint of red on the shift knob and the Aston logo.

I think car looks very good. Interrior is superb. BUt new james bond (I can't remember his name) doesn't deserve this car.

Looks fantastic and is easy to spot the DBR9's influence in the design, Ulrich Bez said it is meant to be a cross between a DB9 and a DBR9 so as a road car this should be fantastic. 150KG lighter with more power Great.

I love this car, will you take my wife as a trade in?

Joking :)

The English !!! What can I say? They are classy and sexy. They know how to design cars and make you feel special inside - I meant the inside of the car of course. Yeah they do - it's all class.

I cant imagine what it would be like to sit inside one of those, but I bet it would be like sitting next to a sexy woman - inside a cockpit of the latest gizmo techological jet fighter.

This to me is like the F35 of the Jet Fighters, it would have a VLO affect on you, giving you all these beautiful tingling sensation all over your body just like of course - a virtical lift off - and that would be straight to heaven baby ....

Thumbs up !!!

Judging by the concept sketch I was expecting something more than just a make over of the DB9. The tinted rear lights aren't to my liking :(

Great looking car, but personally, not car did better than the BMW 750IL. The movie had the greatest (bond-type) car scenes!

I think the air intakes on the bonnet are a bit overdone but the lines of the front splitter and skirts add well done touches of aggression. The interior as always on all Astons is just sex :!:
