It happend this night at 03:30 between Koblenz and Frankfurt on the Autobahn A3. It was wet..
This american Viper couldn't take a turn and spun out in front of me!
Fucking scarry, i almost shit my pants! :( :(
Only 2 british 997 and a finnish (or swedish) S4 stopped. All other cars like SLR, Murcie, 550 etc. slowed down to look at us helping them and asking if everything is alright.

and the ones who didn't help must pray to God for that not happening to them...
I stayed longer than every other gumballer there! Because i had to wait for the police to get my warning triangle back.. obviuosly none of the gumballers had one.

After seeing a car crash like that..what kind of asshole doesn't stop to make sure everyone is alright. Says a lot for the other drivers...Wankers. :roll:
Seems that Vipers are not suitable for high speed cruising. Good that passengers are allright and very nice work from you dodo to stop and help.
Uhm - correction - the driver waqs not suyitable to high speed cruising.
Vipers are as capable as any other very high horsepower car, with wide rear tyres and little electronic aids to help drivers that exceed the mechanical grip of tyres in the wet. :roll:
Countach, 512BBI etc would have all reacted the same way to same bad driver input.

Nice that you stopped to help - but try take the obvious bias out of your comments.
High HP RWD car, wet road, wide tyres, stupid speeds and driving beyond your and the conditions of the road... would happen no matter what RWD non-electo-nanny wide tyre high HP car this yahoo was driving.

I drove along with the Gumballers a couple years back - and there is no excuse for the fucking dangerous stunts they pulled. I drive fast - but with respect for my and more importantly other road users - almost all the Gumballers to a T that we came across as they drove through Houston were driving like fucking maniacs.
They reqlly do act like they are above the law and with little re4straint on the road.

I'm with RC for this one, it could have happen on every other car, just think to the wrecked Enzos ... (despite the fact they have 500 kg of downforce at 300 km/h).

I've also read that they are both extremely good handlers. Just gotta know what you are capable of.
Why is it everytime a car slips off the road, particularly an american car, it's automatically the cars fault? Some of the best cars in the world are crashed.

This wasn't the cars fault, the car does what you tell it too and the driver made an error. Luckily, nobody was hurt this time.

all i did was just running to them and asking for help. but they could get out of the car by theirselves. then i putted the warning tringle somewhere behind them on the road and collected all the crap laying on the road.

its obvious bias you guys have. he isn't protective of the car; but attempting to correct such pitifully wrong statements :hmm: the Viper has no aids to it, and must be respected more then something like an SL 55/65 which has more nannies then Prince william had/has.
its just amazing to see people write "the car couldn't turn" rather then "the driver couldn't handle the car"

Besides the accident, it must have been fun to join them on the their trip for a while ... standing on the side of the highway is probabely cool too , you get the feeling of speed even more :mrgreen:

somehow i felt like little gumballer. :lol: i drove with them for a while, i witnessed a crash fom the first to the last second.. again driving with them for a while.
ok, i didn't like the feeling of getting involved in a crash, but in some way the whole experience was also fun. :)
driving with a friend, accompanied by other cars, seeing new countries.. must be a great trip.
next year i'm in! do the allow 75hp civics? :hmm: :lol:

guys, seriously, any car can lose it in less than optimal conditions. It really doesn't take much. Wasn't it an MC12 that spun off the track on camera? Need i point out clarkson's handling issues on ice during the winter olympics episode?
All it takes is a little to much right foot and everything becomes subject to the laws of physics.
Some cars lose it easier than others, true. But none the less, it all comes down to the driver exceeding his skill limit, with very few exceptions.

It's the drivers fault, that's obvious. With the rain puring he got a little too keen with his foot. Glad you were at the scene dodo, even though nothing serious happened your help could have saved a life back there.
