Wow!! That's a pretty brave choice.

As far as I know for the second year running Poland will be represented by a lame pop band listened to by 13 year old teens.
Poland's best performance was achieving second place but many years have passed since then.

LOL, songfestival is a charade. Quality of the bands in general always sucks, the voting is not fair, etc.

LOL@those clowns.

I get Eurovision down here in Australia and it's pretty cool. The Moldovan guys from last year were great. The English (BBC) commentary from Terry WOgan is hilarious and it's interesting to note that politics is well and alive in Europe, even when voting for a song contest.

You guys should check out Germany's entry in the year 2000. I couldn't stop laughing whilst watching it. I can't find a link sadly :(

You're younger than me. Of course, I've only watched the last two contests.

This contest is an absolute joke.

Thamar is right - politics (remember the UK getting "null points"?)

Every year since I can remember (10+ years) Greece and Cyprus have given each other max points and other countries are just as bad.

It's a complete waste of TV time

I watched a small bit of it yesterday and saw Finland, Poland and Russia. The Russian guy I mention because he sings a rock ballad, but with ridiculous dance moves that are completely incongruous with the music. He was pretty bad. The Polish entry was a bit weird, with a rapper guy interspersed between a duet. It was OK, but not interesting. The Finnish rockers were crazy! They were actually reasonably good.

Turkey passed semi finals and entered to finals. 10th place or better would be suprise for me.

Yay, Finland won. They were by far the best performer but I guess the voters just fell for their image and not their musical talent.

This competition is really a joke. I just in front of the TV and was able to predict the top 3 for many different countries. Cyprus for example, I've lost count how many years in a row their 12 points went to Greece.

Anyway, I'm glad Finland won, maybe this will be a breakthrough for this POS competition.

LORDI ROCKS!

I've been listening to that Hard Rock Hallelujah song fo a few days now. It's catchy and it's hilarious. It isn't much different than Kiss. Except they rock a hell of a lot better.

I gotta find thier CD! LOL

It's the Arockalypse!!!!!

Finland = respect

Well deserved 1st place from Finland. But honestly I am sicked of political voting. Why always cyprus gives 12 point to greece or ex-cccp countries gives highest points to their neighbors. I don't believe most countries deserved their place.

Yeah, the voting is pretty predictable in many cases. But it's perfectly logical. People with similar ethnic/cultural background will enjoy similar styles of music.

I thought the "We are the Winners" song would have done better.
