Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Sadly I couldn't attend the press day beeing in Sicily and I had to go on Sunday, right after coming back to Switzerland and right before going to Lausanne. I had a 90 minutes gap to fill and went to check it out. 90 minutes are barely enough to get in the mood and most of my pics were utter crap. Also some of the ones you'll find posted are borderline.. blurry, wrong depth of field, bad framing and so on :( I am not that happy, but since I never visited this important concorso and since I was 15 km away, I really wanted to see it with my own eyes. And even if the pics aren't paerfect, there were so many rare and exclusive cars :shock:

I'm so glad you went to this event, I've been seeing lots of low-res pics from this event but nothing 1600x1200. :)

I'm loving these one-off special Ferraris that have been coming out lately, just like it used to be. I really like Kalikow's 612 - thats how they should all look (shame you only got 1 pic :( )

Brandon Wang's 250 GTO is also stunning!! :drool:

You didn't happen to also get pics of Kalikows other car there, a black 410 SA Coupé?

Yep, finally saw it in the metal :D and amazingly, today it is in Paris for the Tour Auto :D that's cool to see this car beeing used so often :D

The cars you got to see are amazing! Those are cars that most will never see in person.. Some good shots, although I can see how you werent happy with all of those people swarming around.

Indeed, bad timing IMO. The GTZ was scheduled to be launched at the Concorso so it didn't made it to Monaco but it would have if the date would have been different IMO..
And also the Tour Auto in France starting the day After the Concorso.. pretty busy moment :D

I saw the Birdcage in your sig before stumbling on this thread and I knew immediately you had attended. I wish I could have seen the cars you have seen. There are too many I went crazy about behind the computer screen to name them. 90 minutes is short, but it looks like you've seen so much wonderful stuff in that short timespan!

The pics are idd not at your usual level, but they are still very nice ;) It seems like the M6 wheels look really good on a Z8.
