Same old ugliness.
getting worse, if anything. LOL
That looks like it may have been the E65/66 facelift mule for the new engine.
The render looks alot closer to the facelift than it does the new model due out in 09. I don't think we're going to be seeing any test mules for the next 7 series until sometime next year.

Whats up with the god damn lines on the sides (doors)!!! I hate that shiet on the 3 e90 e92 and now this. Fux. Hope M3 doesnt have that crap. Its gonna have wider fenders so maybe they remove those lines. That would show from far thath that BMW is no 3 series.

I think it looks slightly better than the current one, though the back seems to have stayed that ugly :x

Fat Joe's finally going to able to buy a car he can drive, instead of the silver ferrari he has and can't even fit into it.
Hmm...Id still take the W221 S-Class over this.

did no one read what i said??? At what point has any of the new models echoed the previous genearation THAT closely?
If that really was the test mule, don't you think they would have camoed the back end too?
Ive got a pretty good feeling that all that is is an E65 facelift mule with the N62TUB48 engine. Now known as the 750.
The PS render looks pretty damn close to the facelift
and as i said before, the next generation 7 is going to be out as a 2009 model year, which means it's still too early for the prototype mules to be out and about, especially that blatantly.

funnily enough ive been getting (kinda) used to the 7series look...i might even like the old rear lights better than the facelift ones...
Chaos in 1983!

listen to the BMW grease monkey... this is a facelift not a new model. Anyways, judging on the render, I like the current one a lot better.

If this is a facelift, anyway...I dont like it, what the hell are they doing with 7 series, if i remeber bangel left the BMW, who is styling them now, some 5 years old kid :x
The E38 had the most beautiful shape of 7 series BMWs, and the e65 is not bad at all, but this facelift :?
Wonderful car dispite what biased bmw-haters say... 8c)
It more like what BMW fans say no mater if it looks ugly or not.

I don't understand.... If that test mule will be just a facelift of the 7 series, that will be the second of this generation
To be honest, this is the worst BMW, nowadays. I think the Audi A8 looks way better, and the MB S-class is a better car. So, I would only prefer the 7.series if it would look better, wich is not the case :P

no no no. This was the PRE-FACELIFT mule. Some moron dug these pics up out of the recycle bin on his computer and decided to repost them.
There is not going to be another facelift for this generation

Correct, BMW models operate on a 7 year cycle. And there will be a face lift in the 5th year.
(Model Year) MY2002 - MY2005, and Facelifted for MY2006 - MY2008.
New F01 and F02 will come out in MY2009.

I didn't think it could get uglier, but oh well, I've been wrong before I guess.
Are you saying you still haven't seen a 750Li?
Would someone please lock this misinforming thread?

Shit, sorry. Didn't see your post about this being the pre-facelift mule.
