Thanks mate, I was expecting this test :P But some numbers are not up to expectations : 0-200 km/h in 11,6 s, that's not close to the CGT or Enzo times :?

im bit suprised, zonda got more power than C GT and its slower around nurburgring

short summary:

- the Porsche Carrear GT still is faster than the Zonda F at the Nurbring North Loop, the new sport auto ranking:

7:32 - Porsche Carrera GT
7:33m - Pagani Zonda F
7:34m - Koenigsegg CCR

- at the Hockenheim short track the Zonda F loses against the CGT and CCR due to oversteer, also the better aerodynamic of the Zonda F wasn?t any advantage there

0-200-0 km/h in 15.8 secs. same as the SLR but slower than the CGT and CCR:
14.5s - CCR
15.0s - CGT
15.8s - SLR
15.8s - Zonda F
15.9s - Zonda S, just a slight improvement

- better aerodynamic than the CGT and CCR, 1kg/25kg downforce in front/rear at 200 km/h, very good balance and a cd of 0.358 show the aerodynamic improvent also of the new rear wing comapared to the Zonda S

- 1.4g max. lateral acceleration on track with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, better than the CGT and CCR with only 1.35g

kerb weight: 1371 kg
power-to-weight ratio: 435PS/ton
0-100 km/h: 3.8s
0-160 km/h: 7.7s
0-200 km/h: 11.4s
Vmax: 345 km/h

36m slalom: 137 km/h,
better than the CGT with only 137 km/h but not faster than the CCR with 138 km/h

evade test, 110m: 159km/h,
faster than the CCR and CGT with 158 respectively 157 km/h

wet handling: 1:34.3m,
not faster than the Ford GT or CCR with 1:31.8m respectively 1:33.5m

verdict:
No surprise at all, but from a super sportscar at the high price range nothing else should be expected even though so much money is no guarantee.
the lastest version of the Zonda is not just good but fantastic from every point of view, an automotive sculpture, an eye cather par excellence, the high price is visible in very detail, craftmanship and enginerring at the finest.

100% functionalty is the result, 100% in 7 out of 8 disciplines ain the sport auto Supertest, higher rating than the CCR and CGT!!!

or mabey what you suggest is BS ;)

SA has some of the greatest drivers in the world; and definately among the best at those specific tracks.

what a racing driver says in regards to balance means something altogether different then to a normal driver.

oversteer problems could've resulted from front suspension that was too soft; or the throttle modulation being goofy, or camber/toe settings being too aggressive; but not to the degree of "drifting" but where the driver felt there was more left in the car; but the setup lacked the ability to maintain a clean line.

in any case; there are some extremely impressive numbers posted by the Zonda; but i am very happy the CGT is still King after 2 years :)

I was also dissapointed with the acceleration numbers, but i think the car can do better than that, since the Zonda S has posted better acceleration numbers when tested by autocar :|

testing conditions seem to play a huge role in those accel numbers, they should be much quicker.

Wow, to I didn't think they would rate it better than the CGT.. Surely an impressive performer.. But its jusst not as beautiful to me. I think its actually ugly.. Althogh I wouldnt say no to one ;)
