Yesterday my 'street' was blocked by thousands of Germans visiting the annual flowermarket here in Groningen, but today a red van from TPG Post turned up. And he handed me:
- Canon EOS 30D body
- Canon BG-E2 Battery Grip
- Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 L USM

Yup, I'm a happy camper. :D

that 70-200 f/2.8 :shock: ! i love it (not IS, right?) that would make beautiful pictures! i look forward to seeing some new pictures from you; hows the knee doing BTW?

Non-IS idd, my knee is getting better and better (http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37864), hope to take the new cam out tomorrow.

I am also thinking of a 70-200 f2.8 lens for Nikon instead of the all-in-one 18-200.

wow, you + the magical F2.8 make for a real nice combination of photography! F4.5 has nothing on F2.8 :D the focus is extremely sharp!
