OK its here. I arrived at graypaul ferrari today and the first thing that cam out of my mouth was "Oh My God", "Wow", "There it is" :shock: :shock: :shock: because this was my first sighting of any rare ferrari. I was gobsmacked. I ran over to the place and went through the doors into the showroom and i nearly shouted "Oh My Fucking God" but i stopped myself. I couldnt actually believe what i was seeing :lol: . It was such a shock to me, seeing this beast and i might never see one again :P but at least i got pics of atleast one and here are the pics. Hope you enjoyed these pics as much as i did taking them :lol: . This could possibly be teh only f40 in scotland but i guess someguy could have one locked up in his garage, never used. The price tag on this car was £187,000 :shock: . I asked to sit in the f40 but he said no and i dont blame him actually because it is a very valuable car and they probably want to keep it looking pristine but he did ask me if i wanted to sit in an f430 instead and for obvious reasons i said yes :lol:

I've never seen an F40 in the flesh close up, but when i saw the F50 in 1999 at the local Ferrari delaership it made my day! It was night time, so it was shut, but the lights were on and i saw it through the window - the only thing i regret is not going back the next day to actually see it properly :bah: Getting around isn't too easy when you're 11!

BTW - there are surely more F40s in Scotland, but they are going to be v. difficult to see out and about. :(

Yup i agree. I dont think there are many out and about because the owners probably like to keep them in the garage. Even seeign a real exotic ferrari is rare even at a dealer in scotland :wink: , thats why i took the time to go visit this car that was a chance of a lifetime for me :P . I hardly see any real exotics on the road here because there arent enough people who want to buy them but one place that was good for seeing them was the outskirts of edinburgh because i saw a porsche 911 turbo s then a db9 then a black f430 in the space of like 5 mins :shock:

there aren't really that many high-end exotics out of London.

In Manchester, there are plenty of regular Conti GTs, Astons, Porsches and even430/360/Gallardo types, but not very many Phantoms and Enzo/F40/F50/CGT is impossible outside of a showroom.

Shame really, but it makes the time when you see one even more special knowing that its a pretty rare event. 8)

You guys dont know how good you've got it. I was in car heaven in London and even more so when I visited Monaco. Now back living in Brisbane Australia, I'm lucky to even see a Ferrari 360 ocassionally.

Im behind now in my updates but here is teh lot after my trip to backwater dam

Ok, i was in broughty ferry when i saw a really old classic car, a Morris 8 Tourer, one of only 13 worldwide :wink: . I told my mum to go back and she stopped and I got out. I went over to the guy and asked if i could take pics and he said sure. So i took a couple of pics then i asked him what the car was and the history etc.. then he asked if i wanted a ride up the road and i said yes. I ran back to the car to ask my mum and she said yes so i ran back and got in. There were no seatbelts because cars made before 1950 didnt need them :lol: . Then we were off with my mum in the renault espace following :P . He started it and we drove off up the road and stopped at a traffic light. Lights turned green and we set off up the road at 20mph. He told me the car was made in 1949 and could only do 45mph and that it could have doen 58mph new going downhill :lol: . The ride was really bumpy and there was a trail of cars following. We got up the road and he let me off and he drove off. It was my first real ride in a nice car except for my neighbours Volvo XC90 8) . It was fun and very enjoyable :!:

Another huge update :D

IMO when you hunt so long and come home with so many sightings you can just dump the common cars like Alfa Romeo Spyder, X5 or A8 :D ans also the blurry pics or the ones with just part of the car in the frame and so on :D just a suggestion, but when you can spot a pink Cerbera, I don't think the other cars are that interesting beside it ;)

Beeing selective isn't always a bad thing ;)
