Thunder Road: The Standing Mile
The quarter mile? Forget about it! We put a tantalizing mix of cars (and a motorcycle) through a true test of power and performance.
That's the beginning of the article. And they have put some powerfull cars in the test!
You can watch the standing starts at this site;

Or you can put you rmoney where your mouth is and actually run your own car/bike at the Texas Mile twice a year ;)

So the lesson of today is that a Hennessey Viper is slower than a 1980 Chevy Camaro. :mrgreen:

Good plan RC45! It'll be nice to read and (with video's :wink: ) to see how your car is coping with the grip!

Way to go RUF with the Yellowbird. Less than 500bhp (mfr) and still ridiculously fast after 20 long years. But jeez 210 after 1 mile, thats ridiculous!

Thanks for the vids. I don't know about that blue color for the RUF R Turbo, it's unique but so is pink.
Play that techno Road and Track!
