I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW I CAN UPLOAD AND DOWNLOAD VIDEOS. WHEN I VISITED THIS PAGE THE FIRST TIME, I DOWNLOAD A COUPLE OF VIDEOS BUT NOW I CAN'T. PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME THIS.

Yes, now, due to the amount of people downloading and then slowing the site, the access of dld and upld is restricted to "active members" (i think) of the community.

I have videos and photos to share and i don't know how. i want to contribute, but in the section "members videos" i can't find the way to upload.

You can't upload if you haven't access to the download.

Yeah, the upload feature is linked with the d/l one (I'm no expert though), what with the infux of new members trying to gain access, patience is the word for the day or week, or month lol

The upload feature is protected to prevent people from spamming it with a whole bunch of crap (likely in an effort to get dl access). The idea behind the posting rules is that you prove that you're going to stick around by posting for a while, which then leads to you getting dl access. Just sit back, find some interesting threads and start chatting :).

no joke.. but be realistic, why would anyone want to allow 1000's of unknown people to upload who knows what onto their web server ? sure your motives may be good but there's plenty of people out there who will take advantage of anything !

if you really are that keen to contribute by sharing your videos's and pictures why not go buy some cheap web hosting package and use that.. or even is it possible that your isp gives you some free webspace you could use for this ? (many do)

and on a serious legal note, as you may have seen on the news, there is a clamp down on kiddie porn at the moment. Not a situation that is easy to get out of, and certainly not a good one to get into because of some random idiot!. Although the 'entrapment' issue is quite an interesting aspect:wink:

It was explained 100 times.. YOU HAVE TO BE A REGULAR MEMBER!! We can't tell you when you will be able, but most likely, won't be in the next couple of weeks

Hey TT, Maybe we should make some crap up. Then we can shell out some BS to people that want to know EXACTLY when they will be a regular member.

maybe something like this.

You must visit the site 5 times a day and at no time should the visits be more than 4 hours apart from eachother. You must post at least 5 posts per visit and a minimum of 20 posts per day. These posts must be a contrabution to the community and should not be one liner posts like "sweet" or "cool". Junk posts will acutally increase the minimum acceptable contrabution posts needed per day. After 4 months of dedicated usage visiting no less than 5 times per day and posting no fewer than 20 legit posts that have a positive contrabution to the community will you be consitered for a regular member spot. once your under consiteration for regular membership you will be asked to prepair a written essay on a motor veichle of our chosing. The essay should be no less than 5 pages single spaced with 1" margins and 10 point ariel font. The essay should not cointain photos nor should quotes be longer than 4 lines and no more than 2 quotes per page.

Once you have been given regular member status the number of visits and posts will be reduced slightly because we understand the extra duties involved in downloading videos and also finding new videos to add to the collection. Regular members will have a quota of 5 videos per month to add to the vault. Each video added should be of significant differance from any other video in the vault to merit download. *ie two videos about the same car would not be significantly different enough and thus would not count toward the 5 videos per month quota.
