Blue Challenge Stradale, Bentley Flying Spur

On my way home from school on friday I saw this blue Challenge Stradale parked at the country club. I went home and 2 hours later I was back with my camera and it was still there :drool: I have seen the exact same car parked there last year so hopefully I will see him around a lot this year :) Later that day I was on my way home and all of a sudden I notice a Bentley flying spur pull in front of me. It really blends in with other cars but it was my first flying spur I have seen in the wild so I had to get pictures. Anyways enough reading and more pictures!! Enjoy!

Great pics and great colour for a 360 CS. But I don't like the tiny extra rear view mirror glued to the standard one.

CS looks gorgeous - and it's in my favourite colout - TDF :drool:

The Flying Spur is getting rather too common round here - they look awful too, IMO, and as such i pay them no attention - unless they are gunning the engine, in which case they sound bloody good 8)

No I was using the Tamron 18-200. I don't know why some were blurry....I guess I wasn't taking my time while taking the pics :(

I suppose as long as light isn't perfect, it starts to mess up a bit. Doesn't seem a blur due to shake, but more like a problem in focusing and depth of field, a bit like the 18-55, which is really a bitch in some situations, with no part of the pic really sharp :bah:

Guilty myself... although i've learned a few tricks with the 18-55 to improve sharpness, and focusing point... it still gets soft around the edges. my 100-300 is mostly useless at 230mm and up; unless the object is very close... and at that point, its definately not an automobile... but it makes quite sharp images from 100-180mm; and excentuates it if the aperature is max-open (4.5-5). (quantaray)

anytime you have such an extreme zoom; like from 18-200... you are going to have problems with the pictures at a range of focal lenghts... this is even true of the L series 35-300mm; where you pay for improved quality... but still similar effects.

As for everyone who posted about the lens- Thank you very much for your feedback!! I have noticed when I zoom from 135-200 there is very little zoom so maybe I should try keeping it under 135. I will have a major update sometime early next week because tomorrow I have something very special planned :)
