Italian desing is the best, I think so. Only you have to see the desing of Ferrari, Lambo, Alfa... BEAUTIFUL

If you're looking for the worst a country can do in automotive design I can name some countries with which you could easily fill five pages. Besides, not even every car pictured here belongs in this line-up IMO.

I don't like the headlights of the 166, but the rest of the car is beautiful. Recently Alfa Romeo cured this one flaw in the 166' design.

The Stilo looks quite good in 3 door hatchback version, the Barchetta (although not at its prettiest in this picture, I admit) is a truly beautiful car IMO. Personally I'd love to have one.

I have to agree with you on the Thesis, Palio, Marea and Multipla. About the Lybra (don't really hate it, but am neither a fan of it) however, it might not be a rally monster such as the Delta S4 in your sig, but it sure looks a hell of a lot better.

i think that italian style is expressive in Ferrari,Lambo,Pagani ecc...but not so good in normal car, fiat auto spa group (fiat, lancia, alfa)
lancia was the queen of rally but in 1992 the programs were stoppied by fiat, fiat in italy was not a good car and alfa is for "tamarri" (in english not exist) sorry for my english

http://www.libreria-autodromo.it/img/prodotti/stemmi/stemma03p.jpgI think that the very cars of Alfa, lancia were before the sold at fiat

the alfa factory of arese were sold by fiat and the cars are made in torino by fiat line, same lancia cars. the storic "casa del biscione" ( http://www.ilbiscione.it/images/biscione1.jpg this is symbol of milano ) is made of fiat and i think that the original alfa were died when fiat buy alfa, same for lancia. alfa was buy italian of sud. the quality of cars is not good but there are beautiful.

The Delta HF Integrale is from after 1969, when FIAT took over, and it's a marvellous car. Same goes for the Stratos, the Monte Carlo and the 037.

Alfa Romeo cars have always been special cars, whether it's before or after FIAT's takeover. I like the earlier cars (such as the Giulia's, Giulietta's, different Spider's, TZ's, Junior's etc.) better myself, but there's no denying that even the Alfa Sud was a wonderful car to drive.

Italian cars have always had reliability issues, before or after FIAT took over. I agree with you that Lancia has a bit of an identity crisis in recent years, but Alfa Romeo never had IMO. If they would just go back to RWD, they're perfect!
