im partial to the wing...but they are definately something part of being younger, and not at all 'understated'

nice car extraducksause; even though we were pretty sure not to doubt your car; its nice to see another scubie in here :)

You lost the rear? or did someone smashed into it? Looked like serious damage, I'm glad for you it is all repeared now.

B.T.W I like the WRC wing more.... I think it looks a bit naked without a wing

Yes, please get the MD spoiler. Those large spoilers just make the car look like a toy, especially since the down force the large spoiler could provide will never be used. The smaller spoiler also fits the proportions of the car better.

Glad to see it all fixed and running all good mate, Looks tops.

That white rear wing looks very classy, similar to a E46 M3 one. But i like the WRC one more, its apart of the cars identity. It will provide a significant amount of downforce even going at 100k ive read, but top end speed is reduced a bit.

Indeed. I looked at an STi back along (has the big wing stock) and the wife was like "I'm not being driven round in that THING"

Ah well, I'm happy enough with the S2000.

RE: the accident (the short version)

My wife and I were going to pick up our wedding album in Huntington Beach, CA. We were stopped at a red light and then all of a sudden a van came plowing into us around 40 MPH. This man not only hit us, but he nailed two car behind us and another to the left of us. Four people (including my wife and I) were transported to hospital for neck/back pain. The police report stated that the man (80+ years old) should not have been driving, and that he did not know how many cars he hit because the sun was in his eyes.

Anywho, it has been an ordeal to say the least.

Thanks for the concern though :)

RE: Spoiler

I love the RB5 style spoiler. I absolutely love the WRC and hillclimbs, that's why I got the this type of spoiler in the first p[lace. But, I've grown weary of: (1) the "rice boys" and V8 rednecks trying to race me; (2) 1 mile tailing of police officers; and, (3) poor rearward visability. I want something a little bit more subtle and "adult." :D

if anyone wants to buy my spoiler, let me know. LOL.
