:? That's a lot...
The wierd thing is that according to Top or Fifth Gear the ST costs less then the GTI. It doesn't here tho. I can't understand what causes these price differences...?
the Golf GTi runs about $67.000 with little equipment here

Now see...the only problem I've really got with this car is that while it may have the aural qualities of the Audi Quattro...it doesn't have the damn 4WD system...fuck...Ford, c'mon, make a real one!

^^^ Yes I agree 4WD would be mega sweet. Also that engine could easily wack out 280bhp, it could so easily be in the same market as the japanese performance salloons. Then Fords ST brand would be something to look up to. But there is the rumours that if the RS did ever come along it wouuld be just that. Im hoping, but it sounds too good to be true.

^^^ Especially with Ford's current financial woes, engineering and producing the system would be a bit on the expensive side to be considered worthwhile most likely. I realize that Ford has several 4WD and AWD platforms available and some are even applicable to the Volvo I-5 Turbo engine, but putting it into production on a Focus RS is another thing entirely I'm afraid. I'd love to see a more aggressive Focus in line with what Ford's been promising for years (WRC-derived Cossie etc...) All we can do for now is wait and hope that the bean-counters can find a way.

They could always go with limited numbers? that cant be too harsh on the financial side can it? Ford should just do it to satisfy the ford fans out there,..... like me
Forgot to say thanks to bmwpower for the vid. Thanks dude
