The new Impreza gets the 2.5L engine here, is that not the case in Europe?

I haven't driven the non-turbo Impreza yet so can't comment on it, but next week when my WRX goes in for service I might get one as a courtesy car for the day so I can compare. :D

wow even in the US (notorious for getting screwed by the japs) all we get are 2.5L engines in the 2.5RS, WRX and STi.
