The Bentley Continental GT? Really?! I think it's attractive but hardly worth of the same consideration as cars like the Aston Martin DB7. The hood is too short and it looks exactly like what it is, the German's idea of what makes a British car British, but made to fit over an existing chasis.
Why no sedans? I think there have been some beautiful four doors in the last few years, the Jaguar XJ especially, but also the Rover 75, the Mazda 6, and the Ford Mondeo. As for the Lambo, I've always found the Diablo visually distinctive because it's so in-your-face, not because it's particularly well designed. How about a Gallardo, or Miura instead?
These are all realatively modern cars, was that intentional? It's probably easier that way, if you open it up to the best looking cars of all time you'd have to include cars like the XKE, Ferrari Daytona, Bugatti Royale, etc. For the record, I think the Aston Martin DB7 is the best looking car of all time, but then the new DB9 and AM V8 are definitely growing on me.

i'm not trying to diminish any of the supra's performance. as far as that goes it is a modding miracle. i just dont see how one can justify its looks above just about all other cars ever made... its not inspiring or appealing. of course, my opinions and a nickle will get ya a fat cup of JACK SQUAT.

carrera gt i respect as an automobile. its styling is nice, but i dont find it very pleasing. ford gt is not within my taste. im not too fond of american styling. the zonda's rear is hideous. the clio is cute. but not too great looking ;] the r34 as i said is pretty damn cool, but its styling isnt too unique imo. and the murc.... kinda ugly...

but i'll choose the r34 over the db7. if its the vanquish then thats a whole different story
and theres no need for calling names. if you keep it up, you'll get the boot like one guy recently received. if stradale thinks its a waste of time then let it be. and he is right, if you like something so much, no one would be able to affect your own reasons for liking it.

Oh, good call, I totally forgot how beautiful the Silvia was. It definitely deserves to be on the list. You're totally off on the Astons though. How can anyone actually think a Vanquish looks better than a DB7 (and you're not the only one)? On a pure looks basis the Vanquish is at best in the top 30 best looking cars, the DB7 is just so much more pure and fluid, the Vanquish is awkward and forced.

I certainly agree with u putting the Aston Martins on the list. The same goes to the Diablo (if your talking about the 6.0 VT version) and the F40, but why the hell did u nominate an F50 ? It's the ugliest Ferraris there ever was. I'd replace it with the Testarossa or 348. Lotus- cool, Bentley- cool, but I've never heard of the Toyota Altezza.

once again, comment. not argue. ie:
"hi! i like the diablo. but i think the aston martin db7 should be there instead because: ___________"
something along those lines. you couldve chosen better words than "total waste of time"
im curious of what people find aesthetically pleasing. as you may have noticed, many posts here are of discussion and have the same amount of use as this one. i think its more worthwhile as well to make a post that regards to my interest, rather than making empty posts like "hi i like your pictures"
please be more open minded. if you dont care, dont read, dont reply. but other people have followed my requests in this post perfectly fine. you dont see anyone else saying the same things you are.

If I were to take your list as a starting point, keep the cars that I find beautiful as well and replace the removed ones with contemporary cars only (from 1980) and keep your beloved Altezza (which isn't exactly bad looking, BTW) the list would be as follows.
1. Lamborghini Diablo
2. Aston Martin DB9
3. Ferrari F40
4. Lotus Elise
5. Ferrari 288 GTO
6. Ferrari F355
7. Lamborghini Murcielago
8. Lancia Hyena

10. Ferrari 308
11. Alfa Romeo 156 GTAm
12. Alfa Romeo GTV
13. Ford GT
14. BMW M3 E46
15. Toyota Altezza
I chose the DB9 over the DB7, the F40 over the F50 and the F355 over the 360. All the Mercedeses had to go, since I don't find any of them beautiful enough. The G-class and CL I would even call ugly. I like the EB110, but its headlights spoil it for me. They always keep me from finding it beautiful as a whole. I find the Viper a bit blunt and I like subtlety better. If any American car should be in it, it would have to be the Ford GT IMO. Subtle is not what you would call the Bentley Continental GT either. I think it's fat, has a stupid expression on its 'face' (to me it looks a bit like a beaver with four eyes) and is overall not special enough. The Supra and NSX aren't ugly, but there's no passion or uniqueness in their design. Most of their lines we've seen before and the bits that Toyota and Honda made up on their own don't impress me.
If classics were taken into account this list would have been entirely different. There aren't many modern cars that can beat classic Ferrari's, Maserati's, Lancia's and Alfa Romeo's. It could well be I'd end up with an all Italian list then.

the alfa romeo is a pretty nice looking car, but i really dont like the grill and the tails clash IMO.
the 275 is just too venty. remember, im 18... this wasnt really within my knowledge/age period, and thus its style is not too pleasing to me.
the jag imo is excessively large and showy, but it lacks the flair i feel from the viper. its rear just seems flat out wrong to me.
the 456 is wow... stunning from 1993, but right now, i dont feel it compares. the styling of the modena stands out above it, imo.
the db9, as ive said before, :]
porsches never really impressed me. they just became... too common in an annoying way. i smile upon their performance, but i just dont smile too greatly upon them. they did well with the CGT and the cayenne however. the interior of the cayenne at least ;]
wow... i must say im impressed by the gullwing. classy as hell. for older cars, this would make my list.
the f1 i was a fan of for a great while, but i couldnt really find a place for it on my list, thats why i put it on my honorable mentions. good to see you found a place for it.
the miura, i never truly liked. im rather fond of most lamborghinis, but this styling just doesnt stand out for me.
and bentleys... well bentleys... they arent my type :P the GT... fantastic though. there are plenty of other large boxies id consider before that one ;]

i respect your opinions heavily and agree with many of your decisions. i should add that this list is the compilation between the opinions of myself as well as my good friend, thus i cannot substantiate too many of the opinions very well. i agree, the SL and the G are not necessarily suitable for this list. however, i still do not like alfa romeo styling. ill reconsider the list soon. thank you for your contribution.
