Hi everyone!
I'm new here, so I was eager to find out what you think...
what is the best, most competitive and entertaining open wheel series in the world?
Formula One
Cart
IRL
Or any other suggestions?
Let's have a vote on it?
My vote would be formula one, followed by IRL (for the risk) and then CART, as long as F1 doesn't go back to the boring show it was a couple of years ago!!!

Without a doubt: F1. Formula 3 or Formula Renault can also be fun to watch sometimes.

F1 is the pannacle of all motorsport, even if other series can be more interesting at times.

F1 is the best. motor racing couldn't get anymore high tech than F1.

indy car was good, until Georgie boy decided the best way to contribute was to ruin it.

this question is a real gimme. nothing can compete with f-1 but formula 3000 is the next best thing, cart doesn't even come close

Formula1 is by far the best.....CART was good until Motoya took off and IRL ....well that NASCAR in open wheel cars.

The most competitive and entertaining would have to be CART. I love the variety of tracks.

But here in States, I watch F1 religously. Each race is just about on at the same time on Sundays, and the coverage is pretty good.

As much as I like F1, i can't help but think that its not what it used to be. I wish they would get rid of the paddle shift/automatic 'boxes and go back to clutch and stick. With all of the modern technology you can't really call it driving, more like steering. You can't really call the modern drivers heroes, either. Fangio, Lauda, Hill and others were heroes, the same can't be said for JPM or Schumi.

My vote goes to Fomula Vee :D

F1 is the best. Cart has going down and has troubles because they didn't cared for the sponsors, and the big names and teams have gone to IRL (when it began, nobody cared for it, now look this series, is very strong)

If I could see F3, it would be nice

i think F1 in some cases, IRL in other cases. Oval raceways let all cars overtaken themselves with draft techniques. Okay, there are good and bad teams at IRL, but in some cases it´s more competitive than F1...

I think it´s more "easy" to drive through an oval than to drive through a road track. F1 is more cool because of this, road tracks are more hard to drive, so, it´s competitive too.

It depends of your point of view, but i think both are competitive.

Based on last season CART. It was amazing, however Paul Gentolozzi and his thugs in OWRS will ruin it, just like he ruined Trans-Am.
Based on history F1.
And IRL... NASCAR without passing, what could be worse?

I would say F1 and IRL. F1 cause of the circuits and the rules, and IRL because of the cars have almost the same performance.

Basically all European motorsports. And Cannonball Run.
