i dont know a lot about Renaults' associations with the big 3... in particular GM... but does GM have a stake in them? saw a manufacturer plate on a Megane today.
if not, then im guessing GM just want to know more about thier competitors' abilities ;)
its already been a year since some early 300c convertible mules were around michigan... will they be released this summer?
it seems that GM is interested in how the 3 series cabriolet does... seems to mean caddy want something in that market segment to me.

A Megane in the USA? A rare sight I imagine
Slightly o/t I saw a Ford Fiesta on the I-20 a couple of weeks ago, it had euro plates on it, I think it might have been an Irish plate.
It was a red five door, pretty basic model, like the pic.
I thought - what the heck is THAT doing HERE!

I didnt think it warranted a 'what did you see today' thread
GM will be a bancrupt distant history if they don't fix what they have before going after yet another segment.
Dana just filed for bancruptcy protection... GM might not be that far behind...

^^^^
as long as TRW doesnt, dana is tiny compared to them ;)
also, kakorian seems to have snatched enough shares to 'control' GM :? this is why they sold off thier stock in suzuki... and a few other 'restructuring' happenings.
BTW, there was another strange manufactuer plate today... from a distance it looks like any other minivan... then up close, its a mini-minivan. some aqua green opel.
