BMW diesel in US?

Last weekend in the streets of San Francisco I saw a 535d... It was in a weird blue (like lagoon blue) with a dealer license place in the back and a Bosh logo on the front.

Does anybody know if BMW are going to import their diesel in US?

yes. It's supposed to be here in the X5's later this year. And it will be the E70 X5 which starts production soon in Spartanburg, SC
