Maybe a buy-back by Porsche North NA or some such.

The owner probably demanded a new one after the dealer valet opened the door onto a light pole... ;) :P

Here's what people are saying about it on another board, regarding repair costs:

980-559-411-02-G2X $13537.98USD Door Sill
980-559-011-01-G2X $22639.12USD Door
980-555-011-03-FJX $8759.86USD Door Trim Panel
980-542-111-00 $534.69USD Door Glass
996-803-091-00 $173.65USD Side Airbag

Not bad...so long as the monocoque is not cracked...in which case, it can't be repaired and will set you back:

980-501-910-00-G2X $112678.23USD Monocoque

hahaha! SuperGlue it and call it a day!

112k for a carbon fibre monocoque? hmm.. maybe if I could live in it too..

and my god, for the price of replacing the door you can get a brand new sports car..
