Ahhh mate, they actually beat cars in the class above. I do remember them beating a fully functioning Vette at VIR or something that was in a class above.
I remeber because I brought it up in an argument with you once.
And they did race 911 in their class.
Oh and the old 360s are still a force in British GT, and British GT has some very impressive machinery. Including a Vette :o ;)

gangajas - I have no idea about the driver. I was watching TV and I saw this race on SPEED channel, so I just packed and left lol. Managed to see last 6 hours of it (by then, no ferraris were running)
RC45 - not all depends on the car, much depends on the amount of cash the team put on the car so Ferrari not finishing while several GTOs did, does not surprize me. How come GTOs arent winning races in europe?

I dont think anyone is implying that everything american is rubbish afterall america has achieved alot i think wat Ronin005 was trying to say daytona isnt real racing and ferrari compete in f1 which is the pinnicle of motorsport in terms of technology power racing resources and about 300 mil a year and chevrolet isnt in f1 and as discussed there were 3 ferraris in the daytona race so really the whole thread is pointless coz there were ferraris and he was trying to point out that there are no ferraris in 'real racing' when there were as discussed 3 oh and the definition of real racing is actually dependant on the person some people find nascar exciting some dont some love f1 some dont it jus comes down to personel taste and what gets their heart racing. So if he wishes to believe that daytona is real racing dusnt nesseccarily mean that others will agree with him especially those who love ferrari.

Very true, Portugal doesn't have a sports car and as far as i know, there are no plans to make one.
Now that u made your point about Portugal not having a sports car, can the american cars go any faster around corners?
