I know many will vote uncool, but seriously, this new 3 series is damn nice IMO! it made the E46 fade away quite quickly and while the basic models with tiny wheels and such aren't that sexy, the 330i is superb with a very nice exhaust note and stunning look! Bring on the M3!

Cool, in the metal looks nice, the interior is nice, the ride is nice, engines are nice... the only bad thing is performance is sort of the same as in the E46

yeah, really slow car. I like the front headlights and some other parts that I cant pintpoint at the moment, but I dont like the side of it, looks too big. Not sporty at all.

It is very good.. but the rear is awful... and that puts it on the uncool side of the mark... :P

It looks great!! The rear could look better ( not much ) but the front is just awesome!!

I just don't understand why the standard 3 series has such an horrible wheels ??

Anyway, forget the Passat and A4 boring designs, 3 series rocks!! :P

Exactly my thoughts. The engine makes up a lot for it and it is not as ugly as the other cars in the line. But the E46 still looks better!!!

The E46 was impossibly elegant, especially in Coupe or convertible form.

The E90 is perhaps a more agressive shape but it's not as pretty, especially the E92/E93s, the only shape I prefer is tha E91 over the old model. I'll take the E91 M3 if it's coming.

Still, it's a brilliant car, I've had E46 M3 Coupe, 330cd Mrport Convertible, and 330ci MSport auto convertible and E90 320d es, 320i SE and 330i Msport auto. E91 318i es, E92 335i SE so I have had quite a nice chance to comapre them. My favourite was obvioulsy the M3 but after that so easily the 330cd convertible, it wasn't too shabby for a convertible and the torquey as fuck engine really hauled the heavy body around so much better than the petrol. Got pulled over for power sliding it around Vauxhall Bridge.

The E90 et al are amaxing in their chassis but the steering is dead, however, you have to go somewhere in your design, although the E93 vibrated all over the place, it was on 19s but the shakes were worse than in the E46 convertible.

As if, the ultimate cool current 3er would be the E91 M3, if it's ever made.
