Game tonight: 7:30 pm est.
Edit:
Wings lose 3-2 in regulation vs. Nashville

the preditors started the game with one goal, continuing from the game on Nov. 21 meeting that was postponed after Detroit defenseman Jiri Fischer suffered a seizure on the bench.

just about 3 minutes in, a breakaway goal was scored on Legace, with the wings dominating puck control, and shots on goal... including the rest of the game.

41 shots on goal, and only 2 goals allowed was quite impressive work by Vokoun.
the Wings scored two power play goals, dasyuk and lang i believe. the preditors took the game winning goal late in the 2nd in a power play of thier own, making this the 2nd power play goal scored agaisnt the wings in thier mutual meetings...

blah blah, the Wings wont be winning any cups this year!! it'll be a team from the east and mark my words on that!!

hopefully the Flyers of course, but we will see. then again there are some pretty good teams out west, but i think the east has what it takes this year!!
the flyers are damn good this year of course... its hard for me to say they are the team to beat...
without any doubt in my mind, Forseberg is the greatest forward in the game...
the one time they met up this month at detroit may not have been under ideal conditions with it being philly's 11th away game in a row... but i would stress that they didn't play a good game... 20-41 shots is simply mind blowing... unfortunately, they wont face them again in the regular season.

in any case... its not particular superstars like Jagr and Forseberg that make the wings great; unlike in past years.

Karyia, just is nifty!! :P
if by nifty, you mean damn good... then definately.

oh well... still, i blame their amazing goalie, Vokoun for protecting the net when his defencemen couldn't

two powerplay goals by the wings were the story of the game tonight, with the 100th game winning goal by Shanahan, bringing him to 3rd highest ever :)

the game was dominated by good goaltending by both the canuks, and the wings; and good defence... few shots were real good scoring chances.

im starting to get annoyed by the shear number of powerplays and 5 on 3's happening these days... its simply too much  well, at least penalty killing is definately getting better... well, it looks it anyway.

its definately nice to see the wings come off a 2 game slump off of nashville :)
