:shocked!:

Seattle??? in a Super Bowl???? Has hell frozen over??

This had better be as good a game as the Rose Bowl, or i'll be pissed.

My money is on Seattle though 8)

^^^ no it just stopped raining for them :P

seattle is a good contender, my bet is to go against vegas, but i don't think i will be betting this year, to close to call...

i love the steelers, but the seahawks have been on fire.

Dehlome's 3 interceptions didn't help anything, but i got a kick out Smith throwing a tantrum about not getting the ball

If Seattle can keep their defence on Bettis, it should be a good game. But remember, more often than not the Super Bowl is a complete blowout.

what is the vegas odds on this game anyway?

I'm thinkin playin safe and saying Seahawks by 7

vegas most of the time waits for the week b4 to release the odds, some handicappers till the wed.

I'll go with steelers. seattle's QB doesn't convince me to have the balls or confidence to do it.
both teams seem to be equal, but my money's with pittsburg

hasselbeck will run on a 3-n-8, his is not afraid to drop shoulder and take the hit and push for the first down.

the man was the most underated player in the playoffs IMO

he has ball's as big as his big bald head

he does really well under pressure and his linemen are reliable in providing him protection.

Defense is sticky as hell. Smith couldn't catch a break and they're going to be all over Bettis on the ground. It looked like the Steelers ran a full on running game against Denver, and by the looks of the Panther's lack of yardage, a running game is going to be extremely ineffective. Passing is a crap shoot just by looking at the coverage instituted tonight.

But the Steelers have a pretty big line, so backfield penetration is going to be difficult. I think Seattle may need to rely on their D to get good field position.

Bettis is not the full time RB, what's been the deciding factor in these playoffs has been who makes the least mistakes. And on that note a running game is superior to seattle, I don't think Ben is gonna win it for Pitt, but he's not gonna lose it for them....I recall something like, 'we're taking the ball and we're gonna score'

steelers beat all 3 top seeds on the road, and i don't c them stopping

There's no way this game could top the rose bowl, which was one of the most unbelievable games i've ever seen. I'll be happy for a game that is not a blow out. The Super Bowl is usually a let down, but both teams seem to have defences that are peaking at the right moment, so hopefully it'll be a close game. I'm going with Pittsburgh in the win.

Nah. Holmgren has been to 2 Super Bowls, and the Steelers coach 0. He knows what needs to be stepped up to win, hknows what mindset he has to get his guys into.

and you're right, the Rose Bowl was simply insane. Its going to take alot to top it. (30 point come back in 5 minutes?)

Actually the steelers have been to a super bowl against i believe Green Bay, where they lost. Nonetheless, i do believe that Holmgren is a better coach than Cowher. I can't wait two weeks for the game. And no Champions League for a couple weeks either.

I know the Steelers have been there, but afaik their coach hasn't.

My friend's brother owns a bar in Michigan, so he's flying out there on tuesday and staying for the game. Fucker isn't going to be paying for a damn thing except his plane ticket since the bar is in a hotel :?

Actually, i was watching nfl films today and the steelers with Cowher as coach made it to the super bowl against Dallas in 1996.

Within my lifetime there's three things i would like to witness in person. The F1 race in Monte Carlo, a Superbowl and a World cup finals. Here's to dreaming. :D
