Windows media player dead

I tryed to replace 9.0 with WMP 10 ,but instalation broke down and now i cant use WPM,tryed instalation again,nothink happend, then same with WMP classic, so what next ? i cant instal any type of WMP, WMP on pc isnt working, files re corupted, any guess ?

control panel >> add or remove programs >> add remove windows components .. uncheck WMP in the end ... restart your computer ... then go there and check tha box again .... and click on OK ....

hmm .. :| .... well ... if you start to get insane ... the just delete this folder "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player " use shift+del :shock: and try installing WMP 10 ... ..
btw imo WMP 10 sucks :roll: its not all that much user friendly .... and eats alot of memory :|

ok, i will try, but i guess mine win is f*cked, so reinstallation is next step,cos all is so slow

Why would anyone want to use WMP anyway? Except for classic offcourse.

I think there's some way to restore the WMP files, but you might need the Windows cd.
Because it takes less than a second to load and looks prettier than Classic. :wink:

I use classic,
the new one for some reason make the videos look choppy to me,

and sorry bmwmpower i don't know what to do,

XP copy is just fine,dont know where is the problem, u know windows is sometimes mysterious world

is your windows OS up to date? I think you need a new version of the windows installer to install MP10.

XP without SP1 and SP2,maybe thats whole problem
