Hi, I bought a 250 Go HDD but my computer only recognize 131 Go. So I tried to find a BIOS upgrade for my mainboard (MSI-6712) but can't find it.
I found that : http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios/bos/spt_bos_detail.php?UID=456&kind=1
but despite the name of the file, it seems that it shouldn't be used on a 6712 :?
Thanks if you can help

Do you have a KT4V or KT4AV? They're both MS-6712 (confusing) but the BIOS are not interchangable. KT4V is KT400 based and KT4AV is KT400A based.

It's not the bios upgrade you should look for, it's a new set of files for the HDD, maybe new drivers or even a program to operate the "big" HDD. Look for it on the makers homepage.
