Should be an interesting read, though I'm sure the results will be similar to those of the old Top Gear report on this (1990 or 1991, i think?).

Thanks for the scan :)

I think likewise, very interesting read. What's funny is that Tesco fuel creates more power, basically throughout the entire rev range, then Shell Optimax :D But that has obviously got something to do with the higher octane level.

This is a very interesting read, thanks for the scans TT.

My mom who's really carefull when it comes to her money, recently started using 98 instead of 95 in her Yaris 1.0. It seems it really helps, not only the power output but also the economy improves... didn't know that. Oh and cool to know the VW Golf GTi actaully got 15 hp more then the company says :D

Very interesting, its a topic i have been thinking about lately. I always put BP Ultimate in my car (except when it ran out for a week, had to use 95) and wasn't really sure if it was the best thing - it does cost 10c more per litre. :bah:

Thanks for the scan.

yeah but the increase in economy is offset by the 98 fuel being more expensive. ;)
