Nice pictures, especially the first one! :D
Yeah the Opera House is crap and boring, everyone has seen it - its overhyped. :P
Are you coming or have you been to Perth yet? I would love to see some car pics from Australia actually, don't see many (if any) street sightings from over east. ;)
EDIT: My brother is in Singapore (then the Maldives) at the moment, seems like the place to be.

Wow!
Right now I'm in Vietnam actually!
I've made it through Singapore, Thailand, Laos and are now in Vietnam. Later, I'm heading to Cambodja and Thailand again.
Only a month left on my trip so the last 3 weeks in thailand is all about the tan!
Dissapointing cars everywhere... there's nothing worth mentioning..
And the pictures... dont get me started about the pictures. Gonna take 1 day to upload one picture. It's nothing like my 10mbit back home :D
Hope you all are alright and spotting alot of exotics, beacuse I dont!
cheers!

Cool that my topic is semi-active! Nice of you to comment and stuff and I promise I'm gonna upload some pictures, slow internet but they're coming!
From Laos to Vietnam, Danang was crazy. We had a VIP-bus ticket but ended up on a local bus with chickens and crazy laos people, chanting and screaming. We changed bus after 24 hours on a quite okay bus, still local. We changed buses to the REAL local bus, than all the craziness happend. We sat on a wodden bench in the mittle aisle for 10 hours. It was horrible...
Although we came to Danang, had a few hours of sleep and of we went to Nha Trang, which was quite nice! Lot of vietnameese ppl there on holiday and good partying too! Sailing Club was a upper-class restaurant that turned into a great club at night. Some fun memories from there!
We were there for like 5-6 days, cant quite remember but the weather were all shite so we went to Saigon for a couple of days and it was okay. Saw the Cu Chi tunnels and the Vietcong thing and all that, really cool!
and as dani said, you're gonna get killed if you weren't paying attention to all the scooters, crazy i tell you crazy! And I thought the french were feisty in trafic :)
From saigon to Cambodja, Phnom Phen, for 1 day. Saw Killing Field, which was horrible but very interesting.
by bus to Siem Riep and saw Angkor Wat which was really really cool! A huge temple in the middle of the jungle, really cool!
The Lara Croft movie was shot there, some amazing scenery. Bad day for photos though, kinda misty in the air not clear. I dont know the word for it in english, but in swedish we call it 'disigt'. misty in the air... well, you get the picture!
And then back to bangkok and now I'm in Phuket, Karon Beach. Working on my tan... :)
And that's about it!
Laos - Vang Vieng
The only thing you could do in that place, go tubing. Go down a river and have a few bars along the way :)

If you look reaaally close, I think you can see the skulls on the shelves.
Inside, there were shelves up to the roof with sculls of people that lost their life during Pol Pots era.

Hey, nice that it's so much interest in my trip!
I'm having a good time, i'm at phi phi islands now and the tsunami hit here quite good and alot of trees and shit we sucked away. Although they're building alot and making houses and there's a lot of people here too. Loads on swedes too...
One bad thing, i burned a cd in vietnam with something like 200 pictures. And i actually broke in in my backpack. split the CD in two...
So all my pictures from half of australia, singapore, laos and half of vietnam is now lost forever! :( :(
Anyone knows if you can save data on a broken CD? it's a clean cut...
oh well, im having a good time! But i'll see you in 11 days.... back home to cold sweden!
cheers

Just a couple hours away before I'm boarding my flight back to cold Sweden and it feels really good!
Living in a rucksack for 3.5 months has taken it's toll and I'm feeling quite pleased coming back home, spite the snow and cold.
Just when eveything was all find and dandy, my compactflash card to my camera 'broke' or something. Another 200-250 pics out the window! Jesus... first the CD then the CF to my camera... :(
Apparently my CF got some virus on it or something, really wierd though!
I'm gonna take care of it when I get home!
So, hold your horses with the pictures beacuse I don't got any... :(
So, see you in just 22 hours and 45 minutes!
cheers
