I don't know if I should wait for the new S3 to come out! :? I have heard that it may produce 240bhp! I could wait for the new shape S3 and save money on the old shape. Or I could get the old shape now, or I could get the new shape when it comes out!!!!!!!!!!

Oooooooooooohhhhhhhh! the decisions!

Can anyone find any info on the yet to be release S3? Help me decide! :roll:


OMG it is going to have a V8! Oh yes, this is sounding good!

ive just read sumthin about the new A3 V6 which has 250ps,which makes it the most powerfull one yet doesnt it.

Yeah, looked at that..........still not an S3 though :(

Also, the Golf R32 is better, they even have the same engine!

As far as I know the new A3 line will have the big V6 version that's already well over 200 hp and the S3 will only come in late 2004 I think, with almost 300 hp

The 3.2 V6 is out, according to autoexpress:

There is much confusion I think about the new S3, but I'm sure the V6 version will just be the top of the line A3.. topped by an S version even more powerfull... still not sure if the S3 will have the same 3.2 V6 tuned more or really a V8...

It would take a lot to put a V8 under there, but not impossible........I hope! lol RS4 engines have been transplanted, but as you say, that is not a normal production line.

Audi usually keep there cards close to their chest. I am also interestied in the price! The current top of the range A3 is already in the mid 20k, not sure I would be willing to spend 30k+ on an S3 :?

they do? wow :O but still is a golf :[ the s3 doesnt seem to cool imo :/ but id probably still get it over the r32... well... maybe not ;]
