If it weren't for the stadium lights reflecting off the bottom of the rear bumper i'd say that's a real pic

That's definitely what I'd do every morning. Nothing like the smell of tire smoke to wake you up in the morning :P (because of how awefull it smells and how much that M5's tires cost will make you cry)

This should be on BMW's ad poster....I'll definitely put that on my wall

well if it weren't for the fact that the front of the car is larger than the back half especially the wheels it would be badass but will the M5 let you do a standing burnout like that? or will it only allow rolling burnouts... Our cars at work will roast the tires through the first 2 gears easy but if standing still the revs are cut right at stall.

yeah that does look weird. The rims. I thought Zfrk would complain about that bfore u seeing how picky he has become :!:

I'm not sure if it will power brake or not. I wouldn't think so given the SMG programming...

And now that you mention it...the rear wheel IS abit smaller than the front :?

well I was thinking more along the lines of the drive-by-wire system cutting power rather than the shift programing because I know you can keep it in 1st-2nd gear. And I always heard it referred to as Torque-braking...

well, unless he put in M mode which would mean a) DSC is off which might make it possible. b) because the car is cold, there is no way he'd be able to rev past 4 or 5K c) I don't think launch/burnout mode would allow the brake to remain applied while the wheels aer spinning.

better find them in your friends car than have them on your car and your goddamn dealer "cant hear it" to fix it.

And you still think technology for technology sake is good? ;)

Let's see... no VANOS or SMG or ABC or XYZ or even OHC - just push rods, clutch, 6 speed and gas pedal.

That's all you need for loads of fun... ;)
