ok, this is creeping up extremely quickly... so we'll all be fully prepared, and somewhat organized.

Last year, i Met up with Vansquish, and Deth... This year we can get a few more of us, perhaps meeting up, eating in Greektown etc.
http://www.naias.com/

First off, the dates available for everybody to be able to go:
Saturday January 14 ---> Sunday January 22
9:00am --->10:00pm except the 22nd 9:00am--->7:00pm

tickets are the normal $12 in advance or at the door. Come expecting to pay for parking; although you could get lucky with free parking on a side street.

I'll edit this post with people who will be going; and as we figure a tentative date/time combo

im thinking if possible the 20th, to avoid the full on final saturday crowed.
everso suggested having his place as a base meeting spot... so nobody gets lost (although, everso, vansquish, myself ought not to :lol:)

vansquish -saturday 1-14
everso- monday 1-16 or later
transam -xxxxxx
T-bird- friday 1-20-->21
nthfinity - 1-15, 1-20
twboy- saturday 1-21

*********************
T-bird is meeting me in Kzoo Thursday night, and we're heading to Cobo early in the morning, and we are going to meet everso there; and go from there.

an early indicator seems to be Friday Jan 20 or Saturday Jan 21.

im guessing i'll be there on day 1 or 2, then again for the JW meet... sometimes they have a special car or few there early on that move on to other shows... 2 years ago the CLK GTR was in the basement, and i missed it :?

I am probably going to drive up to Mission Bend Indiana this year to watch the start of the TireRack Cannonball Run again... maybe we can make a meet of that weekend.

my family is out of the country til the 21st, so our house is pretty much empty...so we could use it as a "base" to meet up and go together to the show if we decided to go on the 20th....the house is about 20 minutes away from NAIAS.

cheers!
if you're ok with that, it sounds like a good plan :D

I'm reasonably sure I won't be able to make it the second weekend of the show thanks to a fencing tournament at Purdue that weekend. However, I'll see if I can work it out to go at some point during the day. What time are things looking like they'll go down?

I need to know a general time as to when we want to get there since I will have to leave at the ass-crack of dawn to get there at any reasonable time. I might have a couple people coming with me also (have some company on the drive)

there are 2 options i see...
leave thursday evening, and stopping somewhere overnight...
Kzoo isn't close to Detroit (a little less then 3 hours), but i've cot a couple couches.

or leaving the morning before, like you suggested.

if one of the others has an idea, dont hesitate to post

looks like its just going to be Everso, you and myself (+your friend) which is still good
see you friday morning 8)

however... Vansquish... meeting in Detroit in the AM would allow you to make it back to AA to fence with plenty of time :wink:

This is true...let me know what the timing ends up being, I could conceivably make it out there by opening if needs be, but it rather depends on how much work I get done and whether or not my new weapons arrive intact and on-time tomorrow.
