WOW. This is great news. Just when I'm looking to buy a new laptop. Hope it will have high performance specs, unlike the average spec Acer Ferrari laptop.

thanks for the info, this laptop looks terrific in black...normal, it is a lambo!! But despite this article, there is still nothing on the Asus web page. Hope they will really make it.
I would also be curious to see it in yellow, it should not be bad...

the most impressive single feature of the bunch, a secondary display and controller on the lid. It has a little color LCD and a four way pad to allow you to do a bunch of things without turning the PC on. If you use your computer as a music station, this will be very useful to you. has a 11.1 inch ultra-bright widescreen display, and features centrino mobile technology dual core technology
only black and yellow colors
probably looks a bit more loud in its other color, the traditional Lambo yellow.

The Asus VX1 notebook has the Lamborghini marque on it, but does the performance live up to its 4-wheeled counterpart? Even with a Core Duo 2GHz T2500 processor, Intel's 945PM chipset and the 3945ABG 802.11a/b/g WiFi adaptor, 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, a 120GB hard drive, a dual-layer DVD±R/RW optical unit, a 15" (1400 x 1500 resolution) screen, the Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 256MB graphics card, the £1,945 price slapped on it does not justify the parts within. Expect the VX1 to ship at the end of this month
