Surely the cost of the Integra in the USA can't be that much cheaper that it would be worth all this trouble? In anycase it seems the shipping costs will make it more expensive than buying locally, not to mention any import taxes/costs that may apply.

I'm glad no one mentioned the trust issue.. there are 1 or 2 dodgy traders on ebay :P

Im suprised theyd sell it to you over trust issues.
That being said I dont think its worth it... It cant be sucha great deal that you can afford to ship it, pay tarrifs on it, and still make out ahead.

hey mops, i recomend you to buy a japanese car, they are way cheaper! and they offer shipping arrangements! for exmaples from japan to guatemala wich is 3 countries down the US it costs around 1500 dollars... they car itself may cost like 15,000
wait i'll show you!:
i cant show direct liks the site is full of frames...
go to www.japaneseusedcars.com and click on auctions the price in yens divide it by 100 and thats and aproximate price in us dollars
then go and click in estimates for the shipping charges...
i found this to the UK is 65$/m3 and the largest Honda car is 12 M3 so the shipping is less than 800usd$

If Belgium is by law in any way close to the Netherlands, you need to pay a lot of money to get the car plated....
Doubt it's worth the hassle, risk and money.
Well, it's just stupid to buy a car from the States.. already a mess to buy a car on the net.. if you can't check it out with your own eyes before buying, you must be crazy, even if it's really cheap. To ship it won't be cheap for sure.. and then you'll have an US spec car which should for sure undergo some inspection to be roadlegal in your country IMO. Not to forget custom fees...
For sure a bad idea IMO

No way its worth buying a car over eBay. There might all kinds of problems with it, e.g. stolen, blown engine, blown gearbox. All kinds of problems. And to get it complianced in your country it will again set you back more money depending on the regulations you guys have in Belgium.
And there are a fair few "cheap" cars on eBay...but they are mostly scams to be honest, people selling 2003 E46 M3's for $7,000 US, so you send over a deposit of $2,500...and they then screw you for the car.
So dont bother.

Agreed, unless it is from a very reputable dealer and it is one super deal, I would stay away from cars that you can't drive much less see in person.
Goodluck!!!
Integra Type Rs are hella cool though.
