Well...are you going to be able to get a Veyron at "MSRP" cost? I'm guessing there's going to be some premium on those too right?

What sissies! They know that the reserve is 1.8M and they bid it all the way up to 1.75 and then stop. Whats the point of doing that? If you know the reserve, whats the point in bidding if you're not going to cover the reserve? I hate asshole fake bidders like that.

there are alot of pics, even one of the miles and vin #
prob just a dealer trying to sell the car for profit, bought it off a guy for a mill, and selling it for 800+ profit

Nah...SVAG is legit...but possibly a car that's not really for sale...so it has a super high reserve...it's a lot of exposure for the dealership that has a car like that. It's not just "some standard" Lambo or Ferrari..hahah

Well I was going to bid but the CARB Nazis won't let me register it...
Nice find.

It's worth every penny of the $1.8m. Imagine what it will be worth in another 10 years, possably twice that. These cars aren't gonna get any cheaper. I'm surprised that I see so many for sale, I mean, with only 100 of them made and being so desirable you would think that they would quickly fall into the hands of someone who really wanted them, but I must have seen at least 12 of them for sale in the past two years or so.

... perhaps they're trading them for the Veyron Razz Wink
That could be. But from what I've been hearing that would be a decision that you're likely to regret if you're expection it to be an advancement of the mclaren as they are to fairly different cars and that seems to be the only reason, except for perhaps the desire for change, to trade it in. Not that I can be completely sure as I've never actually driven anything more exciting than a Focus ZX3. :P

There were only 72 of them built for the road of which I believe at least two were totaled. And there were 27 built for racing of which some were later converted for road use. And I think there were something like 7 or so prototypes built.
... but anyway, many new hypercars have appeared in the last two or three years: Zonda F, CGT, Enzo, MC12... so I guess it was time for a new toy! Very Happy :D
lol, and the Mclaren is still the king of all road cars, even after all these years. :D The only one that might match it is the Zonda.

Toronto is saying what about the Veyron, so far as McLaren saying that nothing will touch the McLaren F1 as the king of supercars, aside from possibly the Zonda... =)

Oh yes, know I understand. sorry about that. :D The veyron is very good but I think that the Mclaren F1 may just beat it. But it really is kind of foolish of me to say that because it is just my own personal opinion and personal preferences. When you get right down to it the Veyron may well be a better car but I like the Mclaren better. :D
Welcome to JW.
Thanks for the kind welcome. I've been enjoying the site a lot. :D

well seeing as how they are still better then anything else ever produced, particularly a veyron the car easily deserves the 1.8m.
