Do a google search for it. Theres information that goes both ways.

There are many cars without flywheels, just not many road cars.

I am no expert in this area but as I remember the firing order in a V12 is such that the engine runs smooth enough without a flywheel. And I am pretty sure that the F1's engine is built like this so it can be very responsive.

lol, I actually meant that I am no expert in the internal mechanical workings of a car. At least I don't think I am. As for my name, I chose that name because it is my favorite car, not cause I'm an expert on it. :P
