Yes, Sydney is where I live.
Sydney is a relatively boring place for tourists. You can look at the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and if you're rich and so desire, you can climb it. There's other architecture, like the Opera House, the Centrepoint Tower, and numerous old-looking buildings in the city proper. Most of the place is, however, suburban. Sailing on the harbour is also interesting, if you like that kind of stuff. If not, you can visit Darling Harbour, where there's plenty of souvenir shops. You can also climb aboard old navy vessels in the Maritime Museum and look at sharks in the aquarium. Outside of Sydney, there's plenty of other places, like the Blue Mountains (out west), Kiama (down south) where there's some blowhole of some renown.
Of course you can just bum around the numerous beaches, but a lot of them are in lock-down, what with the recent riot.
