Off to Washington next week and i'm looking to pick up a few bargains ;)

A PSP is top of my list, but what other gadgets n gizmos n latest must haves should i be considering when spending my hard earned dollars over the pond? ;)

gasoline... its much cheaper here

see if you can time your visit with a computer sales expo... absolutely great deals on those...

im not familiar with price uk vs. price us on most goods, but they say the xbox 360 is hot... literally ;) um... a hi def flat panel would be quite fun too; oh, and beanie babies :P

I've got tysons corner, potomac mills n a few others down.... anywhere else i should know about? ;)

I'm not looking for super expensive stuff, just general electronic goodies ;)

Looking for some top quality in ear headphones as well.

In my experience with most stuff, US prices are the same as UK but in dollars.

eg, something that costs £100 will be $100, and with an exchange rate of 1.7 thats a fair chunk off

why didnt he just say that he had it already?
besides, as long as its just one item.. or only a few... its usually duty-free?

Happened to a friend of mine, he was studying in japan for a year. Got back in Belgium, had bought himself a digicam overthere. Customs pulled him out, did a check, even called sony belgium for a price on that camera. The extra taxes & fines made it 150€ more expensive then when he would've bought it over here... And he had saved about 100€ by buying it in japan.

that's why you open the package and carry the camera as it was already used.

yeah bringing it back isnt really a problem.

Koss porta pros u say? ;)

How do these compare to the shure e2cs and ultimate ears $99 phones?

Gooduck: yeah renting a car.... off to williamsburg for the first night and then a hotel near the pentagon for the next 4. I think Potomac is vaguely in between DC and williamsburg no?.... i'll be sure to check out those places
