Awesome reading, but I must say I am bit disspointed myself also, with all the mods, it is still doing the same time (or abit slower) as a E46 M3.

Pretty impressive time for how little money they've spent so far. Thanks for the scan TT :)

Most magazines count out labour.....but if you were to make a car like that it will be much much more expensive.

They shoud have gotten one without a sunroof, but anyway hope they manage to achieve 8.10 or thereabouts.

scnell318 - does the sunroof make the car much less strong in the chassis or is it because it's heavy you said that?

glass is a ton of weight up high, spoiling its center of gravity, making it react slower.

even replacing a steel roof with an aluminum one saving about 4 kg has a tremendous effect... adding weight up there IMO is terrible.

thanks for the scan :-D

^ It's even better if you can lower your roof!

Thank you very much for going to the trouble of scanning and uploading this, TT. It certainly made for an interesting read, especially for someone that struggles getting around the ring in less than 9mins, in ANY car! (on GT4).
