Definitely looks amazing. At a quick glance it looks just like the GT2 version that someone posted shots of a while ago. Wonder if they're any different?

Well considering it was in top 2 time wise at Sebring, and mind you it finished without problems ;) In its first race, being a brand new car...
I think it has lots of potential.....lets see how it goes.
And I definetly prefer it in race trim.........all of its looks are justified in htis version.

Some questions: What is the difference between a GT and a NGT??
What is the difference between a Challenge and a Challenge Stradale?
I might look stupid, but hey, at least I'm not the only one around here that is stupid :| Well thanks anyway
BTW, I love the white pic

The Challenge is the track version(with some minor tune ups)of a car. The CS is the road version(Stradale comes from the word Strada which in Italics mean road) of the Challenge. The Challenge/CS are Ferrari's names. Porsche for instance uses the CS also and it means ClubSport.
Now, the N.GT with the GT is practically the same thing. There are a few differences but these are minor.
All these versions are simply because the 'street" version is a posers car, and the factory needs to engineer aan F-car for every series they enter.. ;) They have no "universal race formula" :P ;)

Rubbish.......275s came with leather interiors too.
I guess Chevy just takes a C6R and sticks some slicks on it to eh :D  Last time I checked they have a major program for the racing team.
And should I even mention Porsche? The whole GT3 program is one of the biggest in the world......or maybe its the Chevy race program...
So actually, Ferrari of all brands does the least and spends the least on preping their cars for race duty.
Meaning the stock cars are much closer to race trim then any Vette or Porsche :P

Does any one race F306 or F430's in any race series? I mean actual street cars - like many people do with C5 Z06's. P911GT3 (non RS US NSpec street cars) and P911GT2's? ;)
These are proper street cars - driven home from the dealer, and retaining all the series required street sourced items. :P ;)
I don't ever recall an F360 (or even F355) showing up on the SCCA T! grid.... :)

Dunno and dont care mate.
Bottom line is that in no major series races stock cars ;) Not ALMS, ELMS, FIA GT, Dutch SuperCar...............
And most of the time Ferrari owners are rich enough to just buy a race preped version of whatever car they want instead of taking the stock one :P Those numbers of drivers being very small....just the like the z06 population in the Vette world is tiny :D

Considering the F430NGT uses an engine which meets race regulations and is hardly the road engine (4.0 vs 4.3) while the GT3 still uses the base 3.6 from the road car, albeit modified. I'd say the Porsche is closer to home than the Ferrari.

ahahahaha thats a good one.
Are we doing engine displacement discussions now?
Porsche has a WHOLE bloody race program around the GT3. A big one.
Ferrari does their thing in the same shops as the rest, and doesnt have a big dedicated race program program for one car, they dont even have a big one in general.
So once again Ferrari is the one that does the least in repect to getting their cars out on track.

Actually... all those F430 N-GT are prepared by Michelotto, not Ferrari itself  :P
