Depends what level the ban is. If you were super banned then I doubt you would have been able to post that.

it gives a message that your account has been banned ...

unless I do what I just did , your isp - or in this case university gets the whole ip range blocked at the server firewall LOL

normal ban in the Admin panel = page loads and gives a message that your account has been banned ...

ip ban by .htaccess = 403 forbidden error

ip ban in the firewall = site / server cannot be found error
