As you might have noticed in the ANNOUNCEMENT, from now on the photo of the month topics will be open for everybody to post a reply :)
We encourage you to do so. This way ppl can understand who won and why, and what to do to improve the picture skills, why not!

BTW, with so many members, why are we around 400 votes per month? You lazy ones, it takes just 1 min to place a vote in a poll after having reviewed the pics! Please do so!

ok...so i voted for darkel's diablo 6.0, it was a close match, also liked fuegoturbo's 6.0, the miura and the 360 in the snow alot... but i liked the full frontal agressiveness of darkel's pic so...thats why :)

Wasn't an easy pick, but I went for Speedracer: the car is nothing special for me, but the pics is perfectly exectured, with a nice light and shadows game, nice colors, perfect framing :good:

You know what .. I forgot which one I voted for. I was torn between the Yosemite M3 and DB6 shot. Its one of these two that I chose :)

The DB6 being a nice GT would have been a great choice on an scenic drive in the countryside as depicted in the pic.

Dingo's freeze frame of the flying F50 was perfect with the spot of yellow on the track just below the yellow car a nice bonus. The F355 on a foggy day is an awesome pic too

Very nice Images guys, I like them all, but the F50 with out a Q is the best! Sharp and crisp while still in Motion.

Can i add my photos for next month TT, I got some nice Gallardos, SL, S2000, Diablo's, DB9 etc...

I voted for the black modified by Kahn. The Viper picture get's a close second, mainly due to the background, lovelly scenery, a park with gorgeous colours and the machine planted under the tree.

Well, you can post your sightings in the "what you saw today" section, and maybe one of them will be picked for the contest ;) pics must be taken by you of course

...
About my pic - I think there're better ones, so next month I'll tell TT what to submit :P

dani LOL, you just post too many pictures in a month, so I can get confused

Well Andre, not a bad idea: the problem is that only a few of us actually get snow where they live :D dingo for instance would be out of the contest from the start :D

Great idea, I was thinking about this awhile back actually but never mentioned it. Its nice to see why people are voting for certain pics. :D

I'm not 100% sure anymore but I think I voted for Maou, just like the location - could be a advertising shoot! The black always looks good when using a polarizer too.

....dingo for instance would be out of the contest from the start :D

I think there is an indoor snow field here somewhere, I could drive my car in there and take a photo? :P

I'd definetly have to go with TT's pic here, the 360 Modena surrounded by snow looks very un-natural and natural look for the Ferrari to be in. It was a close decision between SpeedRacer38's Pic and TT's pic. But the reason why i didn't choose SpeedRacer38's is because, although i did like the automn surrounding, i didn't feel as though the car had much life. It was like you found the car parked there. Whereas, TT's pic shows a Ferrari, in what looks to be a parking lot that has just been thrashed around in.

Really cool pic.

P.S. leaving why you chose the pic you did is a really cool option!!!

i voted for speedsters viper. the something about it, i dunno if its the scenery or what, but it just stands out to me. the 355 and the vanquish came in a close second for me

1) dingo- maybe it's just the car or the color, but the picture makes me feel like I'm there.

2) dani- same reason as above, but to a lesser degree. I also picked these two because I love action shots more than pictures of stationary cars.

3) TT- I like contrasting color of the car and the scenery as well the contrasting imagery of a powerful sports car in the snow.

4) speedracer- great picture, but like I said, I like natural action photos more than staged photoshoots.

They're all great pictures though!

Great idea, but I always find it really hard to pick a winner, they are just al great :D

First I though I would pick stmoritzer's pic as my favourite, just because of the amazing background and a stunning DB6 in the foreground. And then I scrolled down to Dingo's pic, what a great panning shot of such an amazing car. But I knew TT had taken pics of a black 360 in the snow, and I really dig exotics in the snow, certainly in this case with the big contrast between the black car and the white snow. And also Speedracer's Viper shot is so nice, with a great background setting.

But in the end, I went for the underdog, Mihals's pic. It may not have an exotic in it, but imo it's a great pic. There's something about the colour scheme, which really attracts me to this picture, it's hard to explain why. Maybe it has something to do with the polarizing effect on the car, or the black and bronze looking rims in combination with the background of dark weather. Above this all the picture quality is great. I really like this pic.

I had to vote for stmoritzer's DB6 shot as I think it's the most beautiful car in the lineup this month, and it's in the most picture-perfect setting as well. Beautiful combination.

Very hard to make a choice. I loved stmoritzer's, ae86_16v's, TT's, but I voted for Maou's picture. It has great colours and a nice atmosphere!
