Yeah, the TT races are awesome to watch, nothing can prepare you for the first time the fast guys come past you, literally a few feet away! :shock:

I went a few years back and vowed to return when I can, a truly amazing place.

The average speed per lap was something like 127mph for the top guys?! Absolutely Mental!

The course follows through some towns, and then out into the countryside of the Isle of Man, 37 miles per lap. Duke Video Clicky (http://www.dukevideo.com/Bikes/DVD/Road%20Racing/TT/Events%202000%20onwards/TT%202005%20Review%20DVD.aspx) sell DVDs of each years racing, well worth the money :D (and no I don't work for Duke :wink: )

As for the danger, unfortunately there does tend to be one or two deaths per year on these races, although is usually the spectators getting too excited and racing home afterwards :x
