No doubt. Still I think that there being a camera could have triggered them a little extra. I wouldn't have behaved like that when I was a kid though.

he definately knew what he was getting into; i mean... kids will be kids... and snowballs are nearly harmless. i wouldn't doubt that the reporter is the one who set it up... and wasnt expecting as much head shots :lol:

being that i have grown up in a state with gords of snow each year... i have to completely disagree with you there Jabba... as a kid, i have thrown my fair share of snowballs at the innocent, and visa-versa... all good fun, really.

happy slapping is another matter altogether, and is something that really hasnt hit our streets at all thankfully.

That's because people here won't put up with it the way people there do. IF it hit here you'd hear reports left and right about kids getting beat down for slapping people.

didn't seem like much respect for an adult and that went much further than a joke which I would say would be a couple of snowballs...these things are all sadly getting out of hand in the UK through lack of "respect"...another example was halloween...kids were knocking on peoples doors and demanding money..any failure to pay up resulted in paint stripper being poured onto your car....

And well i can appreciate the lack of respect, i remember several of my teachers saying we were the last "good year" when I was in sixth form, the kids that were coming through were appalling and the teachers have little or no power :bah: The parents, well fuck knows what they are doing :bah:

Had the kids been hiding rocks in the snowballs i would agree with you J, but kids will take things too far just out of getting wrapped up in the moment. And then again i didn't hear anyone calling cease fire either :wink: I wouldn't really call that instance a lack of respect as i can recall a few times as a kid going for head shots during snowball fights (in the rare years it snowed sufficiently in Seattle) with my dad and other family members...this was always followed by being tackled and being made to eat snow :lol: (fortunately not yellow snow)

again nope but they are morons, i dunno though lately I am seeing less kids with air guns/ rifles, certainly doesn't seem as bad as it once was. They have all moved onto happy slapping perhaps? What can you do though, if they get put in a young offenders insitution they treat it like a holiday and no wonder since they get playstations and other stuff that should be a privelage. For instance I can remember misbehaving and my privelages being taken away, (plug removed from tv, games console etc) So why do we give them to these people who apparently need to be "helped" Its clear it doesn't work, they need to be put somewhere so foul they will never break the law again. I remember seeing a docu around the time of euro 2004, in a real low security prison they gave them tv's for the football WTF!! /rant over

Jesus! people who pull stunts like that deserve to be locked up... and perhaps even publically spanked etc. let the punishment fit the crime. personally, the few stories of what some of these kids are doing that make it this side are mostly criminal... but still, snow balls in the face seems far from that behavior to me...
