These are the pics from the track day which followed the Concorso (pics of which I posted) last week.

It was a wonderful day, despite some rain, since the event was not made public there were only a handful of spectators. We were allowed access to whatever we wanted, so I was able to stand on the pit wall only metres from these beasts flying past!! :D

A couple of short videos, fairly low quality to keep the size down - but you here that glorious sound.

360 Challenge, F50 and 550 Barchetta out of the last corner and onto the main straight  http://www.ozcarsightings.com/360C_F50_550B.WMV (2.5MB)

A pair of 360 Modenas and a 355.....lovely sound! http://www.ozcarsightings.com/360x2_355.WMV (5MB)

All 86 high-res pics can be viewed on my website  www.ozcarsightings.com

F40 - sadly it didn't spend all that much time on the track. :bah:

The car which is still in my dreams a week after the ride, it posted the 2nd fastest time of the day...

360 Challenge - was 1sec a lap faster than the F50, and was definately the best sounding car out there IMO.

One of a couple of 550's....

512M, the owner also has a 456GT. :D

F430 - I found out it belongs to a guy who works in the same building as my brother.

A nice selection of 360's, making a glorious sound as always. :D

Great pics. Ferraris dressed in water droplets look really good. I really like the detailed pic of the F40's Ferrari logo with the droplets hanging on it! The panning shots are looking great as well.

Thanks for the vids as well. I'm sure the 360 Challenge was the loudest :)

Did you had the change to get a ride in one of them on the track?

Unfortunately not :( , the organisers banned passenger rides so only a mechanic or scrutineer could go out with the driver. :(

It was a shame, as I surely would've got a ride somewhere - at "worst" in the F50 again. :bah:

And all the track action!! The F50 looks great 8)

My favourite pic, besides the F40 is the engine pic, with the water droplets on the see trough hood.

The 355 with speedline wheels :D a cool looking thingy 8)

Wasn't the black Dino caught by you on the streets a while back?

an other very good set of pics. In addition, the detail pcs with the rain are really nice.

I really like the rear view of the "warwick"...

It was a shame, as I surely would've got a ride somewhere - at "worst" in the F50 again. :bah:

...yeh but even if you were not sitting in this time, you know perfectly how it is now

Yep, your right.

I've seen it a few times since then on the street, seems like he uses it regularly. :good:

Very nice set of pics, Ferraris on track are a nice sight, especially the Barchetta which is not so common out there!
BTW, not wanting to be picky, but I always noticed on most of your panning shots that the quality of the pic become way more grainy than usual, But it's not like ISO grain, it's like bigger, not really sure how to explain, but well, it's something which isn't there at all in static pics. I would understand blurryness and of course on panning shots the quality isn't always top notch, but in some cases it is really weird, just me?
Nonetheless, most pics ended up in my Ferrari folder :D

Your right, I did notice it myself too - but don't have an explaination for it. :?

As you say its not ISO grain, as thats set on 50 most of the time in my case - maybe something particular to my camera. :?

That's idd a shame.

Yeah, worst case scenario: having a ride again in a F50 LOL

Did you try to sharpen the panning shots up during editing? That could explain the strange grain. I've noticed it once when I tried to sharpen a blurry panning shot which would have been great if it was sharp. But during sharpening I saw the grain appearing and I never bothered sharpen panning shots again :)

I think I did on some of them, but the grain was a problem before doing that. The thing is even on a pic which is perfectly in focus (not blurry) there is still grain.....doesn't make sense. :?

Thats not a CS, its a 360 Challenge.

It did go on the track, but not sure on what time it set.

OMG, the dark blue 430

super set of pictures, well done dingo!

Browsing your page, you see first the static display of each car, and then you see them drive, you can feel the power especially in the curve pictures :D

The F40 and F50 have been the stars IMO, but they were not alone! Dino racing the track :P

You've to talk to your camera, dude. Whisper some gentle words into the lens :P

No really, maybe a firmware update will solve the problem. Did you check some photocamera related sites if this is a common problem with your camera? Maybe people over there have a solution.
