Veyron vid @ the ring

Taken from autoexpress and its a pre-production car by the looks of all the tape on it. Its the first vid i've seen of the car though? Does anyone know what laptime the car has done at the ring? It will be interesting to see the times.

well thats not a official production model, so how old is this vid??

I think I've seen it before. If I remember correctly it must have been around 1876, when the first prototypes of the Veyron were tested.

Another video from those crazy Nurburgring spies.

I'm a bit dissapointed...the car has 16 cylinders with quad turbos delivering over 1000BHP and the it looks awfully slow on the track. The car has a very unique exhaust note, I don't think I've ever heard a car with such a low pitched sound.

Anybody know what was the car that overtook the Veyron?? *(more or less half way through the video)

I think it was some kinf of Aston that overtook it but im not 100% on that. Its an old vid but its still the first one i've seen of it.

Not really a track car and lot of reliability problems :? Even for the press tests ...
I think that the car that overtook the Veyron is a prototype of the new Jaguar XK cab.
