I'm going to the Ring tomorrow and I've promised myself I should always have posted pics of my previous visit before I leave again for some good old ring fever. So it was about time I posted a few pics of my previous ring visit. It was a nice sunny Monday in the beginning of October. I was only briefly there, but it was worth every second.
Clicking on the pics will guide you to the high res ones.
Starting off with a nice Scooby in rally trim parked in the Eifel mountains right next to the track:

A little bit further a nice 147 GTA was leaving:

Next to the Alfa a CLK DTM AMG was parked (for the record my 3rd one I caught on the 'streets'):

The Nürburgring wouldn't be the Nürburgring, if some 50m further another CLK DTM AMG (No 4) was parked :P

Some M stuff:

Getting to the action, a drifting 360 Modena. The driver didn't really plan his visit to sideways land, but he luckily was able to catch the slide.

The obligatory 996 GT3 RS's were present as well:

And to end with this EDO Competition 996 GT2 which held the record for fastest road legal car around the ring:
