hum... i know that you are in Nicaragua but wow you guys get riped off. I assume you ment USD since NIO's would not make sence. In the US a full track spec 350z runs $35K and i would be hard pressed to dish that out when i could get a WRX STI for $31K, that is alot more car.

This survey is depressing since i have just realized that i have not driven very many cool cars.

We do get ripped off...cars are quite expensive here...most of it is tax and shit...when I asked the dude from the dealer how much it was, and he told me US$ 56K, I went like FUCK :shock:, but I saved my comments for after the test drive...I was all like "yeah yeah sure I'll talk about it with my old man, I'll be here next week..." :D

This summer i was a valet in Dallas Texas, and Nick Vanexal (spelling) Basketball player, pulled up in a brand new 2003 Maybach 62. My mouth hit the floor. I got to drive it about 25 feet to it's VIP spot. It was so weird driving it, so very large in size and in price. I was driving a car that costs as much as a house. there was no key and i started to freak out, when i realized it had the "keyless go" system. I will never forget driving one of the worlds most exclusive and expensive cars. I also got to park some Porsches,Ferraris, and one Asotn Martin Vanquish. But the Maybach has so much presence.

I really enjoyed the '04 US-Spec Sti I blagged a test in. My friend's 350Z was fun too. (My Contour SE can keep up (just) on some particularly hairy B-roads, however.) I drifted an Isuzu Vehicross for an hour last winter. Then there was a Legacy B4 RSK (auto, unforunately) back home which was really quite charming, as was the automatic Skyline 3.5GT 4-door I borrowed. Good cars, all.

As for which was MOST interesting, well that would probably be my friend's horny Corrado VR6 (now a classic) that I managed to start off in 3rd gear in :)

For now the best car (on paper) I've driven is a Porsche 928 that I didn't really like cause it was an automatic (boooooh!!!!). It really spoiled the fun of a 5000cc, 300hp, V8 engine.
One of the most fun cars I've ever driven is a Renault Megane 2.0 16v (the one with the Willliams' engine in it). Not THAT fast (still faster from most of the cars 'out there'), but it's got tons of front end grip and bags of fun.
Another sweet car was an Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 V6 Turbo. A bit like the Megane, only better! Faster and with a 'lighter' rear end, it really liked to move it around a bit. Cool!
Then I took an old classic for a ride. A 1972 Lancia Fulvia Coupe HF. 120hp is not a lot, but just think that it produced that from a 1600cc in the early seventies! The car is gorgeous, handles really well for what it is, but it IS scary for today's standards. But the sound of its engine is unforgettable! Classic italian concerto! And it was LOUD, really really LOUD! Double carburators (Solex) and stuff... Just magic.

Drove an NSX a little bit when they first came out in 91 or so. The most memorable was a Yugo GV. I worked at a car dealer and spent one whole day trying to get it started. When it finally ran, I did a victory lap around the entire dealership. Nothing like being able to drive a car and hold your hand out the passenger side window without really leaning over. Another memorable time was dozing off at 110 mph in a MB 560 SEC. That car was so smooth and comfortable it just lulled me to sleep.

I have driven some powerful cars (like 400hp BMW M5 or X5 4.6is or Mercedeses) but the one that was really COOL to drive (as in the main question) was the Z4 3.0 SMG. Not so powerfull but such a great fun!! I wish I could have some experience with Italian exotics like some guys above in this topic. :lol:

Havent had much of an opportunity to drive anything really cool, but there's been a E46 318Ci convertible (chick magnet, apparently), a 2001 model E240 E-Class, and a Lancer EVO 6. The BMW was the most fun, predictably, but the EVO cornered on rails. And you can pull fantastic powerslides in it. Of course, RWD is always the best.

I HAVE managed to sit in the driving seat of an E65 745i, Ferrari 550 Barchetta, Lamborghini Murcielago, and Porsche 911 GT2. They even let me have the keys to switch on the engines and floor the throttle on all of them. ALthough that wasn't such a great idea, especially in the showroom of a luxury car dealer.
